Authors & their Cats: H.P. Lovecraft

Happy Caturday! Authors and their Cats: H.P. Lovecraft

Cats played an important role in many of H.P. Lovecraft's science fiction short stories, including The Cats of Ulthar (1920), Rats in the Walls (1924) and The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath (1943). There's also his collection of short stories, Something About Cats.
"The cat is such a perfect symbol of beauty and superiority that it seems scarcely possible for any true aesthete and civilized cynic to do other than to worship it." --H.P. Lovecraft

Thank you so much for your author with cat Caturday postings. Love them! And in some cases, I admit it, I am a bit more inclined to relook at certain writers....or at least the resident felines are.
